Sedalia Police Crime Reports: Morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2014
The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
Sedalia Police received a report from a woman that she was driving westbound on Broadway, near South Lamine, when a passing east bound car shot several rounds at her vehicle from an air soft gun, striking the driver side door area causing minor damage.
A vehicle was stolen from a home in the 1700 Block of East 14th.
A woman in the 700 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole an Enterprise Leasing gas card, from a vehicle between 6:30 pm on May 23 and 8:30 am on May 24.
A man in 100 Block of East Main, reported to Sedalia Police that someone charcoal grill, valued at $90, between Noon and 2 pm on May 26.
Employees of Sedalia Parks & Rec reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into the Centennial Pool, at 1500 East 16th and stole eight Coke's, valued at $8 and a box of nacho cheese Dorito's, valued at $35.88. There were also items that were thrown into the pool.
An employee at Eagle Stop at 3415 East Broadway reported a $28 gas drive off.
A man in the 1100 Block of East 19th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke his front window to his house around 2:30 yesterday morning (May 26).
Sedalia Police observed a vehicle left the roadway, in the area of Grand and 2nd Street and struck a tree, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The driver fled the scene and has not been identified.
Sedalia Police arrested Elizabeth Brown for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.
Sedalia Police arrested Alphonso Ferguson for probation violation and driving while suspended, bond set at $500.
Sedalia Police arrested DeMario Claxton for trespassing at the Scott Joplin Court on Housing Authority Property, bond set at $283.50.
Sedalia Police arrested Lacy Sutton for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.
Sedalia Police arrested Paula Hopkins for stealing from Walmart.
Sedalia Police arrested Jerry Martin for driving while suspended.
