Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports for the morning of October 19, 2012.

 

Sedalia Car Lot Suffers Property Damage

Xtreme Motors at 3210 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone shot six vehicles on the lot with a BB gun, causing $1,500 to $2,000 in damages.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Property Damage Reports

A man on High Point Road in Houstonia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone had damaged his crops and stole items from his property.

A woman on Highway O in Smithton reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone had damaged items on her property between October 5 and October 16.

Several Thefts Occur in Area

A man in the 800 Block of East 16th reported to Sedalia Police that a female suspect forced her way into the home. The woman damaged several items in the residence and caused $2,400 in damages.

A man in the 1000 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered an unattached garage. Several storage containers of clothes were thrown around and new hobby grade remote control parts were stolen.

A man in the 1800 Block of South Park reported to Sedalia Police that someone came into the house on October 17 and took cash.

Casey's at 1601 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $46.03 gas drive off.

Sedalia Police arrest suspects for stealing from Walmart

Yesterday morning (October 18), 62-year old Deborah Steele concealed items at Walmart and left without paying. Steele was arrested and charged with stealing/shoplifting, bond set at $531.50.

Yesterday afternoon (October 18), 43-year old Melissa Hemme concealed items in her purse and jacket while at Walmart and tried walking out of the store without paying. Sedalia Police arrested Hemme for stealing.

Multiple Arrests Occur in Area

Sedalia Police arrested Jeffery Buchanan for a failure to appear charge on backfines/defective equipment, bond was set at $100.

Sedalia Police arrested Dennis Jones for a failure to appear on an original charge of expired vehicle registration, bond was set at $88.50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brendan D. R. Vanwinkle of Sedalia on active warrants.
