Around 2:20 Sunday afternoon (Nov 20), Sedalia Police officers responded to the 1900 block of East 7th Street, regarding a stolen vehicle. Officers made contact with the victim who stated someone had stolen his vehicle. The victim gave a description of the vehicle but no suspects. The vehicle was later located, along with a suspect and pursuit began. The suspect was eventually arrested and the stolen vehicle recovered. The suspect, 34-year old Kevin Neil Richards, was taken to the hospital and then to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges of 1st Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle.

 

Just after 12:00 Sunday afternoon (Nov 20), officers were driving through the parking lot of Open Door, located at 612 South Hancock Avenue. when they observed a man sitting on a table behind the business, which was closed at the time. Officers made contact with the man. According to the that report, officers noticed a syringe on top of the table. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. 38-year old Hans M. Goeth, was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. No other details were listed in that report.

 

Around 9:30 Sunday morning (Nov 20), officer were dispatched to the 600 block of East 16th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon contact, officers made contact with the parties involved. After interviewing them and being told one of people had been assaulted by the other, officers arrested the male subject, for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault. According to the report, the female subject had a slight injury, but refused medical treatment. The male subject, 38-year old Jamie L. Dickson was placed on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending prosecutorial review.

 

Around 2:10 Friday afternoon (Nov 18), officers responded to K-Mart, located at 1400 South Limit Avenue, in reference to a hit and run. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim, who stated her vehicle, a 2007 Volkswagen, was struck while parked in the lot. The vehicle had minor damage to the front driver side bumper and fender. At the time of the report, a suspect had not been identified.
