On Wednesday (August 3), Sedalia Police officers observed a suspect in the 500 block of West Main Street who had active warrants for her arrest. Officers made contact with the woman and ran her information through dispatch. Dispatch confirmed that she had warrants from Sedalia and Pettis County. Arrested at the scene was 24-year old Kalonda T. Dean. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a total bond set at $541.00.


 

Around 1:20 Wednesday morning (August 3), officers were dispatched to the area of South Grand Avenue and West Broadway on a report of a green van that was driving erratically in the area. Officers located the driver and the van a short time later in the 900 block of East 13th Street. The driver was intoxicated and had caused a collision with a parked car at West 14th Street and South Missouri Avenue. 21-year old Roberto Jaime Perez was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident (felony), driving while intoxicated, and driving without a license. Perez was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
