Sedalia Police officers arrested a Sedalia man early Tuesday morning after a short pursuit.

After a traffic stop at 13th Street and Osage Avenue, the man left the scene and was later involved in a motor vehicle accident. The suspect then fled on foot, but was apprehended by officers, after a brief foot pursuit. 25-year old Parris Marlon Potts was arrested in the area of 16th Street and Ohio Avenue, for Driving While Suspended, Resisting Arrest, two Pettis County warrants, and two Carroll County warrants. Potts was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending the filing of state charges.
