This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports.  Early Tuesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle because it failed to signal a turn. The stop took place in the area of South Kentucky Avenue and West Broadway Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a revoked driver's license. Jorge Luis Marcos, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West 13th Street and South Osage Avenue because it had committed various traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle presented what appeared to be fake ID to Officers. Then, when he was fingerprinted, it was discovered he had a revoked driver's license. Humberto Gutierrez Nunez, 52, Unknown Residency, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Nunez was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.

In the early morning hours of December 8th, Officers initiated an investigative stop on a black Chrysler 200 near the area of West 3rd Street and South Kentucky Avenue. The vehicle was stopped related to an active warrant. The suspect gave information that did not come back on file. Then, after further investigation, it was determined the subject had warrants for his arrest under at least two different names. Officers confirmed the two Failure to Appear warrants from Pettis County on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle On the Highway With out a Valid License. Daniel Fernando Perez-Ramirez, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested on his two warrants and a new charge of Identity Theft. Bond on the two FTA warrants was set at $210.00 cash only. Perez-Ramirez was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.


Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Kentucky Avenue Monday night for disobeying a traffic signal. The driver was found to have a revoked driver's license. Glen Ray Palmer III, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Driving While Revoked. Palmer was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West 10th Street Monday night. The driver of the vehicle did not have a valid driver's license. Martha A. Izazaga, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested for No Operator's License. Izazaga was issued a summons and released at the scene.


Monday evening, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 4th Street and Dal Whi Mo Court because of an equipment violation. The driver was found to have a revoked driver's license. David Shadale Cason, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Revoked. Cason was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released, pending state charges.
