Tuesday night, Officers responded to the area of East Pettis Street and North Mill Street to investigate a disturbance. Officers were told the incident was in reference to a trespassing subject, who had been trespassed from the residence prior. The previous incident occurred in July of 2023, resulting in charges of Resisting Arrest and Assault in the 4th Degree. Contact was made with the suspect, who was found to be intoxicated. Brandon Jackie Cooper, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested for Trespassing in the 1st Degree. Cooper was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.

Officers were dispatched to the Dollar General store, 4215 East Broadway Boulevard for a fraud report. The staff reported a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill had been passed. Officers arrived on scene, and information was collected. A report was completed.


On the morning of December 14th, Officers took a call regarding a possible domestic altercation. The suspect had left the scene, and was seen on West 16th Street. She was then located on West 7th Street. Officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle, and the passenger. It was later determined the driver was the primary aggressor in the incident. Emma Ray Dillon, 19, of Sedalia, was arrested for a charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.
