Officers took a theft report from the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard Monday evening. Officers spoke with Kyden McMain, who stated his Nike tennis shoes were stolen from his apartment. No charges have been submitted at this time.


 

Monday evening, Officers responded to the area of West 4th Street and South Vermont Avenue in regard to a past sexual assault. The assault took place in the 400 block of North Engineer Avenue. At the time of the report, the victim was transported to the hospital to be screened by medical personnel. However, he did not wish to prosecute the person alleged to have assaulted him. A report was completed to document the incident.

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of East 9th Street in regard to a fraud report on the afternoon of February 1st. Rhea Guttierez stated a scammer posting as a representative from Evergy charged her for a fake energy bill.
