On the night of January 3rd, Officers were dispatched to the Casey’s store, 1601 East Broadway Boulevard, for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Khristopher Lee Burton. Officers conducted an investigation and gathered the necessary information for a report.


 

Sedalia Police conducted an investigative stop on a vehicle in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Road last Thursday morning. The registered owner of the vehicle was known to have a revoked driving status. Officers made contact with the driver, and confirmed he was the registered owner. Rodrigo Quetzecua Marcos 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for a charge of felony Driving While Revoked*. Quetzecua Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 block of South Washington Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard on the morning of January 5th. Officers made contact with a suspect and a victim as they were walking. A primary physical aggressor was determined, a suspect was arrested. Brandon Louis Srader Sr., 42, Homeless, was arrested on a charge of felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Srader was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.

Last Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that wasn’t properly displaying a registration plate. The stop took place in the area of South Limit Avenue and West 16th Street. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was not only driving on a suspended license, but he was also intoxicated. Juan Quetzecua Marcos, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender) and Driving While Revoked. The afternoon of the next day, Officers conducted a stop in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Road on a vehicle for not properly displaying registration plates. Quetzecua Marcos was found to be the driver, again, and was arrested on a charge of Driving While Revoked.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Ohio Avenue in reference to an indecent exposure last Thursday afternoon. A male subject had exposed himself to a female. The female, who was at work, was assisting the male in applying for an apartment when the male exposed his penis. Charges will be requested through the state prosecutor’s office for Harassment and Sexual Misconduct.


 

*According to Casenet 20PT-CR00383-01, Quetzecua Marcos was sentenced to five years’ probation on another charge of felony Driving While Revoked in October 2023.
