Thursday evening, a car was stopped in the 1900 block of West Main Street for excessive speeding. The driver was found to be intoxicated. Drew Alexander Lamb, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Lamb was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, processed, and released to a sober person with a citation.


 

Sedalia Police took a property damage report Thursday evening from the 300 block of McAnally Court. Stella R. Oetting reported her high school diploma was damaged by another subject. Information for a report was collected.


 

Wednesday night, Officers reported to the 2000 block of East 7th Street for a property damage report. Patrick Brown reported a scratch was left on the back of a truck, which was parked in the driveway. The victim was contacted, and information for a report was collected.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 11th Street in reference to a theft Wednesday evening. On arrival, Officers met with Kyle Patrick Moriarity. Moriarity stated his upstairs neighbor stole food out the common area refrigerator. There was video footage of the incident. Officers viewed the footage, and issued the neighbor a city summons for Stealing at the request of the reporting party. The name of the suspect was not listed in the report.

Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop on a Toyota passenger car Thursday evening for speeding in the area of West Main Street and South Park Avenue. Officers spoke to the driver and performed a computer check through Dispatch, where Officers learned the driver’s license was suspended. Jacob David Haulcy, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Hulcy was released from the scene with a municipal citation.


 

Wednesday night, two subjects were cited for unlawful dumping on Airport property, in the 1900 block of East Boonville Street. They had left garbage on city owned property. Jonathan David Buri, 38, and Angela D. Sanders, 38, both of Sedalia, were both issued citation for Littering.


 

Early Friday morning, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a car near West 4th Street and South Stewart Avenue for speeding. The vehicle was travelling nine miles over the speed limit, and had expired license plates. A DOR check revealed the driver’s license was suspended out of Illinois. Andrew T. Trampke, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Expired Plates, and No Proof of Insurance.


 

Thursday evening, Officers responded to the 900 block of East 16th Street for a report of a dog bite. Joshua Mefford reported he was walking his dog when a neighborhood dog escaped its confinement. The subsequent intersection resulted in Mefford being bitten by the neighbor dog, sustaining minor injury. No charges are being pursued.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 800 block of West 4th Street Wednesday evening. The subject was home and arrested without incident. Kalah Dawn Lindsey, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested on her warrant for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Lindsey was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked, pending a cash or surety bond of $1500.
