Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department to take a found property report. A Samsung phone was brought into the lobby. It was found in the roadway in front of Horace Mann Elementary School, 1100 West 16th Street. The phone was entered into evidence for safe keeping.

Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a vehicle stop at South Limit Avenue and West 5th Street. Officers made contact with the driver, and checked his information with Dispatch. The driver was confirmed to have a suspended driving status. William S. Gudde, 30, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal citation with a court date for Driving While Suspended, then released from the scene.


 

Officers responded to the 1300 block of East 19th Street Wednesday evening to perform a well being check. Officers made contact with a male subject who had been drinking. He was not taking his prescribed medication. A report was completed for documentation.


 

Sedalia Police Officers took a found property report in the lobby of the Police Department Wednesday afternoon. Attempts were made to return the property, but were unsuccessful. The item, that was not described in the report, was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
