On the evening of September 3rd, Officers took a report of a fraudulent use of a credit device. David L. Mefford stated he had misplaced his debit card at the Break Time store, 2801 West Broadway Boulevard. Mefford then noticed fraudulent charges on it from a business in Sedalia. Information and evidence for the report was collected.

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Sneed Avenue in reference to an unresponsive subject. First responders arrived on scene and located the male subject on the floor. He was pronounced deceased by the Pettis County Ambulance District on scene. The next of kin was notified.
