Sedalia Police Reports: Morning of September 14, 2012

Last night at 11:04, Sedalia Police went to the 400 Block of East 7th for a disturbance call. Dispatch said that the caller could hear screaming in the area. Sedalia Police investigated and found a subject that was carrying a weapon. The subject was not able to explain why he had the weapon, or what he was doing with it. Sedalia Police took possession of the weapon and placed it into evidence.

A woman in the 3300 Block of South Park reported to Sedalia Police that someone had struck her mailbox and knocked it off its post and damaged it on September 13 between 1:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

A man in the 2200 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone removed medication from his mailbox yesterday between 3 and 5 p.m.

Sedalia Police received a report that occupants of an apartment forced entry into a vacant apartment in the 400 Block of East 7th and were stealing electricity from it.

Sedalia Police received a report that someone left drug paraphernalia behind in an apartment after moving in the 700 Block of East 10th.

Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone under the age of 21 came into the store and stole an 18-pack of Natural Light on September 12 between 7:47 p.m. And 8 p.m.

Sedalia Police arrested Nadezha Topchiy for stealing from Walmart.
