Sedalia Woman Injured in Henry County Crash

A Sedalia woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred early Friday morning in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2017 Acura MDX, driven by 22-year-old Sulamite Gerasimchuk of Sedalia, was on Missouri 23 at Missouri 2 (west of Windsor) just after 2 a.m., when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled off the roadway, struck and became airborne. The MDX then rotated and came to rest off the roadway in a field.

Gerasimchuk suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.
