Shirley Delores Fox, 82, of Sedalia, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp.  She was born on May 11, 1930, in Seattle, Washington, a daughter of Charles and Alice (Parker) Flack. She grew up in Seattle, WA, where she graduated high school and worked as a secretary.  In 1948, she was united in marriage to Harold E. Fox, who preceded her in death in May of 2008. This union was blessed with the gift of eight children:  Dale, Dewayne, Richard, Georgia, Mike Debbie, Terri, and June.  Soon after the birth of their first two children, they moved to Sedalia to raise their family.  She enjoyed going to garage sales, spending time with her children, and growing flowers.   She is survived by: four daughters, Georgia Young and her husband Morgan, Debbie Arnold and her husband David, Terri Murray and her husband David, and June Fox, all of Sedalia; two sons, Richard H. Fox and Mike Fox and his wife Debbie, all of Sedalia; two sisters, Donna Fogus and Charlene Davis, both of Seattle, Washington; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Fox, Harold Young, Timmy Young, Afton Fox, Amber Fox, Makala Fox, Levi Fox, Rose Carpenter, Rachel Petty, Jason Fox, Jeremy Fox, and Jessica Morton; and nine great-grandchildren, Melody, Lauren, Hunter, Lima, Phillip, Elliott, Krystian, Avery, and Shayla.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Flack, and two infant sons, Dale and Dewayne Fox.   Committal services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Highland Sacred Gardens, rural Sedalia.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
