SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — A southwest Missouri teenager convicted in his stepsister's death has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. Levi Elliott was brought to trial as an adult in the 2012 shooting death of 12-year-old Sierra Elliott. A Polk County judge sentenced Elliott yesterday. Prosecutors say he must serve 20 years behind bars before he'll be eligible for parole.
