As an accomplished newsman, Anderson Cooper is probably used to reporting from volatile parts of the world. But he may have gotten more than he bargained for when a bomb went off during a live report from Gaza City on Sunday.
On Saturday afternoon (October 20) at 1:08 p.m., Sedalia Police received a phone call from a woman that claimed to have located an explosive device while cleaning the apartment of a deceased relative. The woman advised Sedalia Police that the device was removed from the apartment and placed near the roadway at 1802 1/2 East 5th Street.
A suspicious device found during a search warrant served in the Lone Pine Trailer Park, just east of the Sedalia City Limits on Wednesday (September 12), proved to be an IED (improvised explosive device).
