This is a dangerous situation and I'm not making light of it, but I have to wonder what the argument was that led to a Missouri woman allegedly driving miles down the highway with her husband on the hood of her vehicle.
I've been annoyed by people going five miles an hour there..... sure. And there have been a few times when I've been cruising along 16th Street, going about 30 or so, and I've had annoyed dudes behind me honking.
I remember when I first learned to drive, I was told that there was an "understanding" with law enforcement authorities that you could go 5 mph over the speed limit and not get a ticket. Is that really true in Missouri and Illinois? The answer is probably more complicated than you think.
Missouri has a few dangerous roads. I-435, some sections of I-70, and US-34 come to mind. Yet there's one road that's the most dangerous in Missouri. That's US-63.
