A Sedalia man is one of two defendants indicted in connection with a $7 million conspiracy to distribute marijuana in Pettis, Cooper, Boone, Morgan, Pulaski and Jackson counties.
On Monday afternoon, July 3, Pettis County deputies, along with members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and a Drug Task Force officer served a search warrant in the 900 block of S. Merriam in Sedalia.
The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says methamphetamine, marijuana and evidence that meth was being packaged for distribution were found, along with several stolen guns, when a search warrant was executed on May 25 in the 400 block of N. Grand Avenue in Sedalia.
Police discovered what is believed to be methamphetamine in a vehicle that was stopped on February 23 after officers observed "suspicious movements" by the occupants.
