Sedalia STING Unit Arrests Three Suspects in Two Drug Busts

Just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning (May 8), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit executed a no-knock, narcotics related search warrant at 1210 South Carr. Officers entered the residence and the garage simultaneously, and five people in the residence were detained without incident. A search of the residence revealed methamphetamine, packaging material for drug sales and drug related paraphernalia.

Sedalia STING Unit Uncovers Meth, Marijuana and Prescription Pills on East Walnut Street

Sedalia Police responded to 508 East Walnut Street to serve a no-knock drug related search warrant at 5:05 Wednesday morning (April 30). Upon arrival, entry was forced to the residence and detached garage on the property, and three adult subjects were taken into custody without incident.

Sedalia Police Arrest 2 in Drug Bust on West 3rd Street

At 5:14 Wednesday morning (April 23), the Sedalia Police Department executed a no-knock narcotics related warrant at 820 West 3rd St., Apartment D. Officers forced entry to the apartment and found four people inside, who were detained without incident. During a search of the apartment, police found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging supplies, drug paraphernalia and a firearm that had been reported stolen in Miller County.

STING Unit Traffic Stop Leads to Meth-Related Arrest

Just before 5 a.m. this morning (April 8), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit and other officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate lights in the area of 16th Street and S. Missouri Avenue. During an investigation, the female driver admitted she had a syringe and a bag of methamphetamine hidden in her clothing. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Tanya Brandkamp of Sedalia, also admitted to selling the substance.
