The Sedalia Area Literacy Council has given $500 to the State Fair Community College Foundation for SFCC’s Adult and Education Literacy (AEL) program.

The State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present the comedy “Women Playing Hamlet” Oct. 4-8 in the Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre, Yeater 126, on the Sedalia campus.
Tickets are still available for the Genuine Country Music Association’s (GCMA) fifth annual benefit Classic Country Jamboree at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Tan-Tar-A Resort, 494 Tan-Tar-A Drive, Osage Beach.
