Technical Sergeant Christopher G. Smith, 28, of Burkburnett, Texas, (near Sheppard Air Force Base) formerly of Windsor, Missouri, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, as the result of an automobile accident 2 miles from the entrance to the base.   He was born in Windsor, the son of Michael Craig Smith and Tami Janese (Mayes) Smith.  On July 10, 2004, at the Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Mo., Christopher married Danielle Filis and she survives of the home in Burkburnett.   Christopher graduated from Windsor High School in 2003.  He lettered in basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society.  After graduation, he worked at W-K Chevrolet and Schilby’s Auto Repair, both in Sedalia.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2004 and was currently an Instructor Supervisor, Aircraft Metals Technology Flight, 361st Training Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, Texas.   In addition to his wife, Danielle, Christopher is survived by a son, Braylon Matthew Smith, of the home; parents, Craig and Tami Smith, Windsor, Mo.; sister, Jana Little and her husband Josh, Ashland, Mo.; 4 nephews, Dayton Little; Jaiden Little; Preston Little; Carsen Little; a niece, Ali Little; paternal grandmother, Betty Smith, Windsor, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Wanda Mayes, Windsor, Mo.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.   Memorial services celebrating Christopher’s life will be held Wednesday, November 14, 10:00 a.m., at the Windsor Assembly of God Church with Rev. Gene Ekstrand officiating.  The family suggests contributions to the Air Force Aid Society General Henry H.
