Police say a 15-year-old boy was among four people killed and 15 wounded in the more than one dozen shootings carried out across St. Louis over the weekend.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police identified the teen as 15-year-old Malik Valley, who was shot in the chest shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Evans. The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

About an hour earlier, police say 36-year-old Robert Cannon was found fatally shot in the 1500 block of Cote Brilliante. In addition, a teenager was shot in the foot.

Around 7:10 p.m., a 14-year-old girl was reportedly shot in the back in the 1499 block of North Market.

Around 11 p.m., a suspect in his 40s shot a 16-year-old male at Virginia and Bates.

One man was shot in the head after getting into an argument with two people as he was leaving the Budget Inn, located in the 3600 block of Hamilton, around 2:30 a.m.

A man in his 50s was shot while driving his car near North Garrison and Montgomery around 12:20 a.m. Police reports indicate the car hit a light pole, and the man later died from his injuries.

Then around 12:45 a.m., a man was shot in the 1300 block of Hodiamont as he was leaving a store. He was treated at a local hospital and later released.

A double shooting in the 900 block of South Broadway left 21-year-old Jaymes Jackson dead and a 22-year-old unnamed victim in critical condition around 3:20 a.m.

And just before 4 a.m., a man was shot in the shoulder near Romaine and Hodiamont. He was later taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.  According to police, a man in his 50s exited a white truck and simply shot the victim as he was walking down the sidewalk.

In all, four people killed in separate incidents across the city on Saturday and Sunday.

A total of 19 people were shot and injured over the weekend in separate shootings.

There have been at least 63 shootings in St. Louis City this year.
