Teenager Killed in Johnson County Accident

A 13-year old boy from Centerview has died after being injured in rollover accident Tuesday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 5:00 on Division Road, just west of County Road NW 701 in Johnson County.

According to the online crash report, a Polaris Ranger skidded off the road and overturned, ejecting the driver.

The 13-year old driver, Conner N. Shippy, was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital by air ambulance. Shippy was pronounced dead at approximately 6:18 p.m. on Wednesday.
