On Saturday night, a vehicle fire that was intentionally set was reported in the 1100 block of Harding Avenue.

A suspect description was given, and a suspect vehicle was located by Sedalia Police on Boonville Road near South Harding Avenue. The driver was advised the vehicle was going to be searched. The driver then resisted and was arrested.

While being walked to the patrol car, the suspect assaulted an Officer. While the driver was being arrested, an uninvolved adult took the key from the suspect's vehicle.

Another subject attempted to flee when he was informed he was being arrested.

Patrick Wayne Brown, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of Knowingly Burning or Exploding, Property Damage in the 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of an Illegal Weapon, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the 2nd Degree, and felony Resisting Arrest.

Michael Lee Hughes, 50, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of felony Resisting/Interfering With An Arrest.

Ryan M. Hughes, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested for Resisting Arrest/Interfering with an Arrest.

Hughes, Brown, and Hughes were transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.
