Traffic Accident in Pettis County Injures Sedalia Teen

A two-vehicle accident resulted in minor injuries for a 17-year-old Sedalia woman Thursday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Route M, just west of Garrison Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2008 Infinity crossed the center line and side-swiped a 1993 Chrysler. The Chrysler traveled off the road and struck an embankment.

The driver of the Infinity, 54-year-old Duane E. Dixon, was not injured in the accident. However, the driver of the Chrysler, 17-year-old Brittney L. Keith, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The MO Highway Patrol was assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department.
