Accident Injures Marshall Teen

Two area teens were involved in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night at Highway 65 and 765 just north of Sedalia.

17-year-old Brittney M. Seidel, Sedalia, was the driver of a southbound 2008 Nissan Altima at 10:30 p.m. when she traveled into the path of a northbound 1999 Buick Regal at the intersection of US 65 and 765, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. The Buick was driven by 18-year-old Alex D. Love, Marshall.

Love suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD.

Both drivers were wearing a safety device, the report said. Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.

The Patrol was assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department in the investigation.
