Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2008 Subaru Forester, driven by 72-year-old Vicki A. Sauble of Marshall, was at Missouri 240 and Missouri 41 South around 1:30 p.m., when Sauble failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a westbound 2004 Chevy Silverado, driven by 44-year-old Brandon S. Smith of Sedalia.

The Silverado overturned twice.

Smith suffered minor injuries, while Sauble suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. Smith refused treatment on scene.

Both vehicles were totaled. The Silverado was towed by Don's Truck Towing, and the Subaru was towed by Diehms Towing.

Saline County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
