Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Friday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 70-year-old Marilyn K. Warren of Holden, was at US 50 and Missouri 58 (at Crest Ridge School) around 5:30 p.m., when the Jeep failed to yield to an eastbound 2018 Chevy Silverado, driven by 64-year-old Steven B. Myers of Versailles.

Myers suffered minor injuries and refused treatment. Warren suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD.
