Two men were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2015 Toyota Sienna, driven by 47-year-old Zeshan Siddiqua of St. Joseph, was driving southbound in the northbound lane of Highway 23, north of NE 500 Road (north of Knob Noster) around 2:30 p.m. and struck a northbound 2010 Ford Escape, driven by 40-year-old Benjamin Richards of Concordia, head-on.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
