Two Sedalians were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early this morning in Johnson County on Highway 50.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Glenn S. Wells, 20, Sedalia, was the driver of an eastbound 2007 Toyota on Highway 50, 500 feet west of Devasher Road at 1:15 a.m. when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment. The Toyota then overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Wells and his passenger, 19-year-old Ryan C. Collins of Sedalia, both suffered minor injuries and were transported by JCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Both were wearing a safety device, the report said.

The Toyota was totaled and towed from the scene.

Johnson County deputies and Warrensburg Police assisted the Patrol at the scene.
