A Warrensburg woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2009 Dodge Caravan, driven by 27-year-old Devante Q. Grant of Warrensburg, was on Business 13, north of Market Street just before 6 p.m., when the vehicle entered the roadway from a parking lot, accelerated and began to turn left, cross the northbound lane and entered the turn lane. The driver failed to see a pedestrian in the roadway and the vehicle's front bumper struck the pedestrian. The Dodge partially traveled over the pedestrian and continued westbound across the southbound lane, into another parking lot.

Injured was 43-year-old Inesha M. Mitchell of Warrensburg. She was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries.
