Warsaw Teen Injured in Rollover Wreck

A 16-year old Warsaw resident was injured Monday afternoon after her vehicle overturned in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 4:00, on Route MM just south of Ironwood Avenue.

According to the online crash report, a 2008 Toyota Yaris, driven by 16-year old Jamie R. Jorgensen, began to travel off the right side of the road, over-corrected to the left, and began to slide. The Toyota then crossed the center of the road, traveled off the left side, down an embankment and overturning, coming to rest upright.

Jorgensen suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by Waraw-Lincoln EMS, for treatment.

Jorgensen was wearing a safety device. The vehicle was totaled and towed.
