The first football season in the new Jennie Jaynes Athletic Complex was one for the history books. The Smith-Cotton Tigers were an undefeated 9-0 in the regular season and won the West Central Conference title. The season has ended, but the accolades are still piling up for the Smith-Cotton Tigers football team.

Sedalia 200 School District

The 2015 West Central All-Conference Team was announced and Smith-Cotton was well represented. Multiple players were awarded for both their offensive and defensive positions. Head Coach Ryan Boyer was named the West Central Conference Coach of the Year.

The Smith-Cotton players that were named to the 2015 WCC All-Conference Team are as follows:

  • Carlton Homan- Senior, Running Back and Linebacker
  • Noah Aziere- Senior, Running Back and Linebacker
  • Blake Jackson- Senior, Wide Receiver
  • Austin Jaekel- Senior, Offensive Line and Defensive Line
  • John Carney- Junior, Offensive Line
  • Jack Marsh- Senior, Offensive Line and Defensive Line
  • Ricky Warren- Senior, Linebacker
  • Jake McFail- Senior, Defensive Back
  • Jayce Simoncic- Senior, Defensive Back
  • Corey Bond- Senior, Wide Receiver
  • Ryan Boyer- WCC Coach of the Year
