William Dewayne Wiser age 71 of Sedalia died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his home.

He was born on July 8, 1943 in Sedalia son of Charles Leland and Della Marie McNeal Wiser. Dewayne attended Sedalia Public Schools. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Doty Moving Company.

He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and singing, going to the casino and eating pies and all sweets. Dewayne loved spending time with his companion and all his family. He is survived by his companion; Wanda J. Beeney, of the home, one son; James Edward Blake of Overland Park, KS, two daughters; Cathy Rodreques and Cynthia Carrasco both of Texas, three stepdaughters; Jami Cunningham, Valli Beeney and Sandy Ballard-Sutterby all of Sedalia, fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Randell Baugus officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Friends may sign the guest book also after 11:30 A.M. Saturday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Cunningham, Eyon Cunningham, Austin Cunningham, Jimmie Don Curry, Lesley Venable and Jerimiah Burks. Burial will be in the Ionia Christian Cemetery. There will be Full Military Honors by V. F. W. Post 2591 of Sedalia.
