Runwell is a group working to provide addiction recovery solutions through funding existing treatment scholarship programs along the continuum of care. By engaging individuals in sporting events worldwide, they foster a healthy lifestyle and begin to break down perceptions of those struggling with the disease.Runwell, the Linda Quirk Foundation is a movement; people coming together to provide accessibility of resources to those needing recovery from addiction and mental illness, helping people live healthy, fulfilling lives.  They believe partnering sports with addiction treatment helps to keep individuals, and their support bases, committed to recovery. Runwell awards grants to fund existing scholarship programs and support-based training programs that offer effective treatment, empowering those affected by addiction to choose recovery and begin healing. Runwell is committed to engaging families and communities in the recovery process, believing that addiction is seldom won alone.  I got to talk with one of the people working in the local chapter of Runwell here in our area, Daniel Bridges, about how much good Runwell can do in our area.

If you'd like to find out more about Runwell, The Linda Quirk Foundation, you can visit the official Runwell Website or you can email Daniel at Daniel.Bridges2@gmail.com to find out more about how you can help.

Runningly yours,
Behka
