Three people have been arrested after a 41-year old man from Columbia, MO who was reported missing last month, was found dead in Miller County.

A press release from the Miller County Sheriff's Department says at approximately 9:30 Thursday night, law enforcement located a body in a wooded area near Brumley, in Miller County.

The body was identified as 41-year old Aaron Brantley, who has been reported missing February 8, 2019.

Brantley had reportedly been driving to the Lake of the Ozarks/Osage Beach area in a silver 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. The vehicle was also recovered.

Preliminary investigation revealed Brantley died of a gunshot wound. An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for March 11 at University Hospital in Columbia.

As a result of the investigation, three Lake area residents were taken into custody at three separate locations in Miller and Camden Counties. The subjects were taken to the Miller County Jail, pending formal charges. The names of the subjects have not been released.
