Advance State Fair Carnival Tix Go On Sale

One of the best parts of the Missouri State Fair for some people is experiencing the thrills and chills of the Carnival. Or at least getting a high up view of the fair from Wade Shows' Giant Wheel or Observation Tower. If the carnival is your thing, or your kids thing, and you're going to be spending a few hours on the midway riding the rides, then one of two advance ticket offers the Missouri State Fair is offering might be just the ticket to saving you some cash at the fair.

Ticket offer one is an advance unlimited ride carnival wristband. According to the State Fair website this offer "Includes Unlimited Rides on any ONE day of the 2020 Missouri State Fair. Wristband ONLY, does NOT include gate admission."  Cost of the advance unlimited ride carnival wristband is $21 and it will save you $11.

Ticket offer two is an advance unlimited daily deal. Acccording to the State Fair website this offer "Includes Fair Gate Admission & Unlimited Carnival Rides. This ticket is valid for ONE person (adult or child) on any ONE day of the 2020 Missouri State Fair." The main difference is offer two includes your fair gate admission. Cost of the advance unlimited daily deal is $29 and it will save you $14.

Both of these discounts are available until August 12.

Before you decide whether or not you want to purchase one of these advance offers, keep in mind some of the fine print:

• No refunds, no rain checks, no exchanges.
• In case the above isn't clear enough, all sales final.
• Most carnival rides have a height restriction of 36 inches (three feet), so wrist bands aren't recommended for kids under 36 inches of height.
• Some rides require children to be 48 inches or taller to ride, or require an adult to ride with the child.
• Some rides have a weight or age requirement in addition to a height requirement.
• Your wristband is not good for food, games, special rides and attractions.

So yeah, for some this is a great deal. For others the better deal is to just buy tickets for the rides you want to go on.

Additionally, there are a few offers that can score you $5 of an unlimited ride carnival wristband when you go to the fair:

• Sunday August 16 military and their immediate family members can get a coupon at the fair admission gate for this discount.
• Missouri County Farm Bureau Offices will have a coupon available for this discount which can be used ONLY on Monday August 17.
• There will be a coupon in "Rural Missouri" Magazine for this discount which can be used ONLY on Friday August 21.
