Sedalia Police arrest a man with a fugitive warrant

Around 9:15 this (Monday) morning Sedalia Police arrested 37-year-old Varian L. Thomas on a warrant out of Alton Illinois. According to the police report Thomas was transported to the Pettis County Jail on 24-hour hold, pending a charge of Fugitive From Out of State. At the time of the report he was being held without bond.

Vandals target a vehicle in the 2500 block of Stacey Lane

On Saturday the Sedalia Police received a property damage complaint from a subject in the 2500 block of Stacey Lane. According to the complainant someone put a substance believed to be sugar in their gas tank.  There was no information on possible suspects at news time.

Walmart reports a theft to Sedalia Police Friday night

According to a Sedalia Police report the Walmart store reported two-light bulbs with a value of $53.79 were stolen by a subject who left the store without paying around 7:45 that night. There were no arrests at the time of the police report.

Hit and Run accident reported late Sunday night on South Kentucky

At 11pm Sunday night Sedalia police responded to the 1500 block of South Kentucky on a hit and run accident. Upon arrival the victim reported his Mitsubishi had been struck earlier in the night. There were no suspects at news time, and no damage estimate was available.

Pettis County Sheriff's Deputies arrest a Sedalia man with a warrant

Around 3:50 this (Monday) morning Pettis County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Fransisco Alejo of Sedalia on an active warrant out of Pettis County.
