Sacred Heart senior Andy Bautista accepted an e-sports scholarship to play "Overwatch" at Central Methodist University, the first scholarship of its kind for the Gremlins.

"Overwatch" is a team-based first-person shooter video game. The CMU gaming scholarship currently amounts to $17,000, but Bautista is also a candidate to receive full tuition aid via valedictorian scholarship.

Bautista has attended Sacred Heart School since fourth grade. He plays the flute for the SHS band, is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on the A Honor Roll his entire high school career. Last spring, Bautista represented the Gremlins in tennis, winning District singles.
