Beacon Street Work Extended To This Week

Due to inclement weather, a road closure on South Beacon has been extended.

Beginning on Monday, Feb. 17 and continuing to Friday, Feb. 28, Beacon Avenue from West 11th to West 14th Street will be closed intermittently to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a stormwater improvement project.

Heavy equipment and workers will be in the area. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.
