City to Mill & Overlay South Washington From Main to Third

The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying South Washington Avenue from East Main Street to East Third Street today and tomorrow from 6 a.m., to 4 p.m.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Please use caution when in the area.

The construction project will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways.

Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion, the City noted.
