Biosolids Compost Facility to Open on Saturdays in April

The City of Sedalia biosolids compost facility is extending the hours of operation on Saturdays in April.

The facility is located at the Material Management Site, at 27882 Hwy U, and will be open on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. According to a press release from the City of Sedalia, compost must be paid for in advance, at the Finance Department in the Municipal Building, located at 200 S. Osage Avenue.

Business hours at the Sedalia Municipal Building are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The compost facility’s usual hours for public loading are Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
