Brett Barth-Fagan has served the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri as its executive director since December of 2005. On Jan. 2, 2014, he will leave the organization to take a governmental relations position with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

“This is truly a bittersweet experience,” said Barth-Fagan. “The Club is thriving, and will continue to thrive long after I leave. I’m excited about the opportunity before me, and even happier I’ll be able to witness what the Club is doing locally in person.” His new position will allow him and his family to remain in Sedalia.

“The shoes we have to fill are enormous,” said board president R.J. Lindstrom. “Brett led a period of unprecedented growth for our Club. Because of his leadership, we’re able to touch the lives of more than 700 kids every day in west central Missouri. He will be missed.”

The organization will begin a search for a new executive director immediately.
