Brian Richard Barr, 41

Brian Richard Barr, 41, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

He was born November 29, 1973, in Sedalia, son of Gerald “Jerry” Richard and Carol Sue Barr.

He is survived by two daughters, Alexandria “Alex” Barr, of Smithton, and Brianna Barr, of Sedalia; mother and step father, Sue and Dick Parrish, of Sedalia; step sister, Teilla Parrish; grandson, Joshua Hood; uncle and aunt, Robert and Kathryn Edwards; and two cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Rehmer officiating.
Casket bearers will be Brad Heaton, Doug Hampton, Keith Hayden, Dave Palmer, Joey Welton and Clint Larsen.
Burial will be at Mt. Herman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Brianna Barr education fund.
