Missouri State Fair livestock exhibitors interested in camping during the Fair will be able to access livestock exhibitor camping forms beginning May 1.

The camping forms will be available on the State Fair website at 9:00 a.m.

Reserved campsites will open Sunday, August 5. The MSF noted those campsites are only available for livestock exhibitors, commercial vendors and persons with disabilities.

Complete camping rules and more information are available on the Fair’s website.

Then on May 10, Missouri State Fair exhibitors will be able to access livestock and competitive exhibit online entry forms.

The MSF says new contests in the Home Economics Department include couscous salad, sweet yeast rolls, pound cake and fruit pizza contests. New livestock shows are the Commercial Dairy Cattle Show, 4-H/FFA Commercial Meat Goat Breeding Doe Show and 5 additional gaited classes for mule and donkey shows.

4-H/FFA exhibitors are reminded that they will not be entered automatically in the open show. An open show entry and fee is required and no entries will be accepted during the Fair, including 4-H/FFA exhibitors wishing to enter open shows which is done separately from the youth show entry. All entries must be made and fees paid in compliance with stated deadlines prior to the Fair.

Once again, exhibitors under age 13 will again be admitted free to the 11-day Fair, while exhibitors age 13 and older will be able to purchase up to 40 single-day exhibitor admission tickets at a special price of $4. The discounted exhibitor tickets are available on entry forms and from the Fair's business office until August 8. The tickets do not include parking and will not be available at the gate.

The Missouri State Fair, themed “Come Home,” runs August 9 - 19.
