The next concert for the 2019 Missouri State Fair has been announced.

Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe recently announced the fifth concert in the lineup for this year's fair as Brothers Osborne with Ashley McBryde. The concert will  take place on the Grandstand Stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 17.

A press release from the Missouri State Fair, says brothers John and JT Osborne consider themselves a twang-and-crunch duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years. The singer/songwriter siblings recently earned back-to-back ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Awards along with the ACM Music Video of the Year for their Top 10, GRAMMY-nominated single, “It Ain’t My Fault.” Their sophomore album, “Port Saint Joe,” features the hit single “Shoot Me Straight,” and their most current release, “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You).”

Dubbed as one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists You Need To Know,” Ashley McBryde lays it all on the line and sings with fire and fury. Her first EP, “Jalopies and Expensive Guitars,” released in 2016, was just a taste of what McBryde could do. Her debut album, “Girl Going Nowhere,” was released in 2018. McBryde was recently awarded the new female artist of the year award from the Academy of Country Music and was nominated for female artist of the year.

Tickets for the August 17 show start at $25.00 and will go on sale to the public beginning June 25.

Other concerts already announced for this year's Fair, include Chicks with Hits featuring Terri Clark, Pam Tillis and Suzy Boggus on Tuesday, August 13. Tyler Childers with Brent Cobb on August 14.
