A Sedalia teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday night in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 15-year-old female from Sedalia was driving a 2022 Mercedes- Benz AMG north on Oak Grove Lane, south of Yeater Road just after 9:30 p.m., when the driver lost control and the Mercedes traveled off the left side of the roadway. The driver over corrected and the vehicle skidded and traveled off the right side of the roadway. It then struck a ditch and overturned.

The girl, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered serious injuries and was transported to University of Missouri Hospital by PCAD for treatment.

 

The Mercedes was totaled and towed by InMotion.
