Carrollton Man Killed in Saline Co. Wreck

A 20-year old man from Carrolton, MO was killed Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 9:30, on Highway 65 just north of Route BB.

According to the online crash report, a 2006 Nissan lost control and traveled off the road. The vehicle then struck a utility pole and overturned. The driver, Dalton T. Newton, was ejected from the Nissan.

Newton was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Saline County coroner.
