Chadwick Man Drowns in Table Rock Lake
A Chadwick man drowned Thursday afternoon in Table Rock Lake after he was thrown from a bass boat in Taney County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 80-year-old Thomas G. Crain of Chadwick, Mo., was operating a 1998 Tracker bass boat on Table Rock Lake, at Martin's Point around 1:30 p.m., when he lost control of the boat and was thrown from the vessel.

He was pronounced deceased at 3:11 p.m., at Cox Hospital in Branson by Dr. Ballman.
This is Troop D's first boating fatality for 2023.
